FAQ - Premium Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service in Kolkata and Howrah

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All the garments for laundry and dry cleaning are taken at owner’s risk.
2. While utmost care is taken in processing the garments, Laundry King will not be responsible for Color Fastness, invisible manufacturing defect and shrinkage.
3. While utmost care is taken to remove the stains, we do not guarantee complete removal of stains.
4. In case of garments with 2/3 pieces, we’ll prefer you get the entire set processed (laundry/dry clean) together to avoid color differences.
5. Delivery will be attempted on ‘Collection + 6 days’ after collecting the garments but the same maybe delayed on rare occasions due to unforeseen circumstances.
6. In the unfortunate event of loss or damage of any garment, a maximum compensation of 7 (Seven) times the Laundry / Dry Cleaning charge would be reimbursed in terms of Free Laundry Vouchers. No Cash demand will be entertained.
7. Customers are requested collect/accept the garments within 30 days from the Due Date. Post which, Laundry King will not attempt delivery. Customers will have to collect the order from the respective store itself.
8. Storage charges will become applicable after 30 days from the Due Date. 10% of the Bill Value shall be charged as storage charges per month, which needs to be paid before collecting the garments.
9. 90 days after due date, Laundry King shall have no responsibility of the garments. The company reserves the right to dispose off and/ or donate the garments to recover the dues, if any.
10. Express Service: (1) 100% extra shall be charged for Same Day Delivery with collection timing before 12 noon. (2) 50% extra shall be charged for Next Day Delivery with collection timing before 12 noon. (3) All express service deliveries will be made between 7pm and 9 pm of the due date. No request to deliver before the time would be entertained.
11. Free Home Pickup and Delivery is available on orders of Rs 200 and above only.
12. On order values of less than Rs 200, a collection & delivery Fee of Rs 50 would be charged.
13. Any discrepancy found before processing the garment, the same will be intimated to you.
14. Request for clothes on Hanger would be charged Rs 12 extra.
15. Once services have been availed, no request for refunds would be entertained.
16. In case a customer pays the order amount at the time of placing the order and if one or more garments are returned back to the customer
without being processed, the amount for such garments shall be refunded back to the customer within 7-10 working days.
17. In case of unsatisfactory quality, the same garment shall be inspected by our team. The order tags need to be intact and garment in unused condition. After inspection, if our team can do a better cleaning, only then can the garment be taken for a Free Rewash
18. All disputes subject to Kolkata Jurisdiction only.

Is Laundry King new?

No. We have more than 50 years of experience in the Laundry Industry in Kolkata and have processed more than 60,000,000 (60 Million) pieces of garments till date and counting. This new!

Are there any charges for Pickup and Delivery?

We provide Free Home Pickup and Delivery on orders above of Rs 200. On orders Rs 200 and below, we levy a small fee of Rs 50.

Do you have outlets?

Yes! We currently have 16 outlets- Salt Lake, Chinar Park, Ballygunge, Bangur Avenue, New Alipore, Axis Mall, Girish Park, Prince Anwar Shah Road, Kankurgachi, EM Bypass, Howrah, Bhawanipore, New Town and Hiland Park (Ajoynagar), Dunlop (Sinthi More), Liluah.

Which areas are covered for Pickup & Delivery?

We serve entire Kolkata and Howrah for Pickup & Delivery!

Is there any minimum order required for Free Pickup?

Yes, Rs 200 is the minimum order amount for Free Pickup and Delivery.

How many days do you take to process the order and deliver the garments?

We generally take 5-6 days depending on the garment. While, due to unforeseen circumstances, our processing times could extend a bit more. But that's unlikely given how we manage our processes.

Do you take URGENT orders?

Yes. We offer two solutions based on your urgency;
(A) Same Day Delivery: If you book your garments with us before 12 noon, we can deliver the garments back to you the same day by 7-8 pm or even earlier. The service is chargeable EXTRA! (B) Next Day Delivery: If you book your garments with us before 12 noon, we can deliver the garments back to you the next day by 7-8 pm or even earlier. The service is chargeable EXTRA but the charges are less than that for Same Day Delivery.

Mode of Payment?

We accept Cash, Card (Visa/ Mastercard / Diner's Club/ Amex), PhonePe, Paytm, UPI.

Do you have Franchise?

In order to maintain strict control over our quality and service parameters, we DO NOT offer Franchises. All our outlets and processing units are under our direct control and supervision. It's You and Us. No third party.
